About Us
Fellow Gordons and Clansmen,
In these difficult economic times it is pleasing to see a Branch of the House of Gordon, doing so well. It has been a busy period for Scotland too as we have had a full period of visits resultant from the Gathering at Edinburgh throughout 2009 with visitors from all round the world, and we were please to see a large contingent from the Gordons.
As a Clan chief I am pleased to see an awakening pride in being Scottish and in the past there has always been a strong following from the Gordons, especially from the USA and New Zealand. We have always been aware that there were a large number of Clansmen in Australia but it has taken some time to bring it all together. We in Scotland are very pleased to see the maturing of your branch to a stage where you have national and international cohesion.
The Gordons have always had a reputation of credibility and cohesion and getting the job done. I commend Ken and his team on their efforts and applaud the work that they have been doing over the past few years. I am sorry that it has been some time since we have visited your fine Country but other matters have been more engaging and consuming of our time. My wife and I have hopes of visiting you in the not too distant future.
For Now I wish you all the best for the Future and look forward to seeing your innovative and enterprising ideas come to fruition.
