PURPOSE:
The Purpose of our site is to provide a central point for everyone to get information on the Gordon Clan whether it be a casual or specific interest or clan or family orientation. It also acts as a meeting place for those who are not able to get together at gatherings or get togethers. We hope to bring together in this way all Gordon Clansmen in Australia with a link up with our other international branches.

CONTENTS:
The site is in its infancy and as yet only contains a small amount of information but it is intended to grow it into a usable reference point. A quick scan of the site will see it currently contains some history and Clan information and a little bit for everyone. We have tried to provide as many links as we could but it will grow as time goes on. The beauty of this site is that it is visually interactive, just run the curser over the highlighted word and a picture will appear, double click it and it will enlarge for you.

OUR BELIEFS:
We believe in the preservation of our Celtic, Scottish/Irish and Clan heritage. The Gordons were always a "Spirited" Clan and we hope to hand onto the future that spirit and heritage and to do this we feel we need to educate both adults and specifically our children in a modern and fun way that will create an interest later in life so as to preserve the heritage for generations to come.

If you have a special interest we put you in touch with other Clansmen also looking for that specific information.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS:
We hope to provide better assistance for genealogy searching including DNA testing, and a more in depth range of topics and links. Above all we hope to grow the Clan in other states and continue to be the Leading Clan in Australia.
