House of Gordon Australia

We are the Australian branch of the Clan Gordon known as the House of Gordon, Australia.

OUR MISSION:
Is to preserve and promote our unique Celtic Heritage and Culture and to enjoy the fellowship
and support of family and friends of the Gordon Clan.

We are dedicated to:

• Create, stimulate and sustain an interest in our Celtic, Scottish and Clan Heritage, history, traditions and culture
• To bring together people of Gordon heritage and background of geographical or historical connections
• To encourage people interested in Scottish and Clan heritage and its various aspects to continue researching
• To promote goodwill and understanding among our members, interested persons and the general public
• To promote genealogical and historical research of the clan and its families in Scotland and Australia

Who Can Join?

• All persons bearing the name of Gordon or its various spellings
• All persons bearing the name of a sept of the Gordon Clan
• Descendants of Gordons and their septmen
• Those who served in the Gordon Highlanders
• Supporters of the Chief including those who wear the Gordon tartan with his permission.
• All those who wish to take a bond of manrent
• All those interested in Gordon Clan special knowledge, history or traditions.
• All those persons who are approved by the Australian committee to be part of our organisation.
